The Swedish Championship for 1/10 touring car and 1/12 modified classes were held in Ă–rebro, on a track that was laid out on a tennis court in a big sports hall. The carpet was new and the layout was fast with a great flow through the corners. There was free practice the whole Friday. In the Saturday morning after 2 rounds of heat practice based on the 3 fastest laps in a row, Markus Hellquist set the pace in both 1/10 mod and 1/12 scale 0.537 seconds ahead of Niclas Nilsson in touring and 0.011 seconds ahead of Alexander Andersson in 1/12 scale. In 17,5t 1/10 touring stock Andreas Gillblad set the pace just 0.079 ahead of Daniel Trygg.
QUALIFICATION
In 1/10 touring cars the qualifying consisted of 5 rounds of qualifying where the best three were counted in a round by round system. In modified Markus Hellquist won all 5 rounds without any close competition ahead of Magnus Vässmar who placed in second and Niclas Nilsson in third.

In 1/12 scale the qualifying also consists of 5 rounds, but only counting your best qualifying session with laps and time. In the end it was Alexander Andersson only 0.01 seconds ahead of Niclas Nilsson with Markus Hellquist in third.

FINALS
In the touring modified finals Markus Hellquist was able to go clean and sail away in all 3 finals without any real pressure from behind. That meant he finished the race, being first in all rounds of the entire event. Magnus Vässmar took the second place ahead of Niclas Nilsson in third.

In touring stock Daniel Trygg secured the victory in the first two finals after some really intense and tight racing with second placed car Eddie Nordenwall and third placed car Christofer Hedlund.

In 1/12 scale there was a great battle between Niclas Nilsson and Alexander Andersson. Alexander was slightly faster but too many mistakes were made and that let Niclas Nilsson take the overall victory winning all 3 finals. Alexander Andersson took the number 2 spot on the podium and Mattias Ericsson rounded up the podium in third.
